What happens after I submit my information?
After you request a consultation and submit your intake information, Dr. F will personally review your information and will determine if he can be of help and a good fit for your needs. You will then be contacted once this process is complete, usually during the same week of submission of your information.
What is the consultation fee?
The practice is private pay and does not accept insurance at this time, although this may change. After connecting with Dr. F, rates will be made available and are subject to change.
What if I am not in a licensed state?
At this time, care is available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
How long will it be until my first appointment?
Depending on availability, your first appointment is typically within a few business days after you request a consultation and submit the intake forms. Availability may be subject to change.
What is the nature of treatment that Dr. F provides?
Dr. F uses an integrated approach that can include psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management (when clinically appropriate), delivered via secure telehealth.
What conditions or situations are not treated by Dr. F?
Your telehealth services are for scheduled mental health care and are not a substitute for emergency or urgent services. If you are having acute symptoms and/or are in a crisis situation, any number of options is available: call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call 988 to reach the crisis hotline.
How can I obtain my medical records?
Medical records are provided upon request with a signed authorization for a records request and signed release (and specify where records should be sent), then the clinic will provide them.
What appointment days and times are available?
Flexible weekly appointments are available and an attempt is made to fit every patient’s schedule. Scheduling is done after the intake paperwork is completed.
